Today I will talk about technology

Taken from Wikipedia:

Technology is the usage and knowledge of tools and crafts, and how it affects the ability to control and adapt to an environment. A strict definition is elusive; technology can be material objects of use to humanity, such as clothing, but can also encompass broader themes, including systems, methods of organization, and techniques. The term can either be applied generally or to specific areas: examples include "construction technology", "medical technology", or "state-of-the-art technology".

The human species began to use technology with the conversion of natural resources into simple tools. The prehistorical discovery of the ability to control fire increased the available sources of food and the invention of the wheel helped humans in travelling in and controlling their environment. Recent technological developments, including the printing press, the telephone, and the Internet, have lessened physical barriers to communication and allowed humans to interact freely on a global scale, however, not all technology has been used for peaceful purposes; the developments of weapons of ever-increasing destructive power has progressed throughout history, from clubs to nuclear weapons.

Technology has affected society and its surroundings in a number of ways. In many societies, technology has helped develop more advanced economies(including today’s global economy ) and has allowed the rise of a leisure class. Many technological processes produce unwanted by-products, known as pollution, and deplete natural resources, to the detriment of the earth and its environment. Various implementations of technology influence the values of a society and new technology often raises new ethical questions. Examples include the rise of the notion of efficiency in terms of human productivity, a term originally applied ony to machines, and the challenge of traditional norms.

As you can see, i today was not creative, i'm sorry but i was very tired. so long.

I will talk about Transmilenio

I will talk about Transmilenio Transmilenio is a massive mean of transportation working in bogota since 2000, its construction begun in 1998, by the time Enrique Peñaloza was Major(Alcalde), inaugurated on December 4, 2000, it started to operate on December 18 of the same year. Since then new trunks have been opened and there are others under construction. Antecedents: The massive mean of transportation of the third milenniun, Transmilenio, is part of the SITP(Integrated Public Transport System) of bogotá that include the bicycle routes network and the future projects of the Train of cercanias an the first metro line. With the investment financed with a percentage of the surcharge to the fuels an the input from the Capital District and the national government was possible to launch this service. the construction of infrastructure and road system and the manteinance of these is developed by the Urban Development institute. System consists in articulated vehicles with fixed stops at exclusive stations. Users pay 1600 Colombian pesos (approximately US$0,75 o €0,53) in lockers located in each station. I works like a metro but with articulated buses. thus, Transmilenio is one of the bus rapid transit system. Generally, there are two ways of exclusivity on both sides of the station, to allow that the articulated buses of the express service surpass to the current service. System is based in the integrated network of transport of the Curitiba city, but there are some differences, such as the passenger access doors on the left side of buses, allowing that only one station to operate in both direcctions, so if a passenger inadvertently passed his destination station, then he can take a bus in inverse way to return, without the need of paying an additional ticket; in addition, Stations with access ramps and a great use of the passenger bridges (Very traditional in the city). in addition, it was the first system of this kind in using the concept of feeder bus routes, which the cost is integrated to the ticket of the main routes (trunks) In Curitiba, each station covers a direcction and its access are upstairs and electrical drawbridge. Transmilenio system is the second type BRT implemented in latin America(First was Curitiba in Brazil ), the fist in colombia and one of the more successful due to the high urban density in bogota, by that reason has been taken as model for some projects of this type being built in some countries of Hispanomarica. In the Transmilenio system was implemented a total uniformity in colour of the buses, regardless of the route, and uniformity of payment, allowing that with a flat fee ticket passengers can travel in any of the timetable of the day in which the system is operating, this has allowed better collection efficiency and more favorable impact on users. That is all folks.

I will talk about situation in Haiti.

I will talk about situation in Haiti. As you know Haiti was shaken for a earthquake one month ago, It was very awesome and destructive, causing great audience around the world, because the mass media have covered this story all the time. People in Haiti has lost everything, they only have their life and the hope for continuing; that is a great message for me, in the hard moments of the life nothing is more important than the life itself, right now I know that the most important is to be alive and to have hope, the rest is circumstantial and everything is not so important as the life is. I confess that I cried when I saw the images from Haiti, people crying, praising, children without parents, it must have been difficult for everybody who was there watching what was happening, I believe those moments people get close to God, Because only God can provide Solace a strength for continuing in the hard moments, and, in fact people in Haiti is closer to god than before, that is well, I think, too much work they will have to do for rebuilding this city, port prince, the Capital of Haiti.

Many countries, persons and volunteers have been helping to haiti, it is nobble cause, also From colombia many volunteer firemen were there helping, I think they did very good work. Althoug, watching cnn, I realized that bad persons have tried to kidnapp some children for take out to other countries. I think it is miserable, because they are taking advantage of the hard situation of this poor country and people living in it.

According to Cnn,and in summary: they were charge a week ago with kidnapping children ac criminal association for trying to take 33 children out of haiti without proper documentation following the nation's january 12 magnitude 7.0 earthquake. they hope to reach a decision for a type of bail withoud bond.

The Americans have said they were trying to help the children get to a safe place, and wanted to establish an orphanage in the Dominican Republic. Some of the Americans have said ther thought the were helping orphans, but their interpreters have said that they were present where group members spoke with some of the children's parents.

Some of the parents also spoke with cnn, saying they had willingly given their children to the Americans, who promised them a better life and said they could see their children whenever they wanted.

Here ends my writing today. So long.

It was very calmed and peaceful. so i didn't need to imitate anybody, i made my personality and so i was happy.

Right now . i no longer enjoy the tv and the entertainment world.

Today is February 10, 2010.

Today is February 10, 2010.

Today has been a day with so much work, because when I arrived to my office, fifteen minutes later, Maritza, The boss of turn, Assigned me a Job, so I had to start to work and just now I have a few time to write this. In the latest days I had been doing very few, there was not work, so I thought that today I could to study Cisco, for that reason I brought my computer, but I could use it because the reason I said before.

I’m feeling laziness and tiredness to be here in this work, because I feel that I’m not improving as professional, I’m no learning new things, and also the contract finishes in 4 months and I don’t know whether it is going to be renewed, I received a promise from my boss, Harold Rodriguez, he promised me that I went to work in another company when this contract finishes, in that case I have to wait that he complies it.

Yesterday I received a mail at hotmail, it was a chain, It was a PowerPoint slides file that said that the end of the world is near. It was a story about the apparition of the Maria Virgin to the pastors kids in 1917. Second the story one of the secrets revealed to the children had been authorized to be advertised to everybody by the Catholic church. The secret said that there will be disasters, earthquakes, tsunamis, and so many bad things more; The Maria Virgin says that we had to be repentant and we have to follow to Jesus Christ, says that the people has been far from the God Word, and the men don’t believe in God anymore.

I was very scared and I forwarded the mail to my contact list, then I started to praise even more I cried.

Today is February 9, 2010.

Today is a normal day, it is sunny day with some clouds and everything is beautiful. I left from my home at six forty five and later walking to trasnmilenium station i remenbered that i had not turned off the iron, so i called to my neighbor to ask a favor, to enter to my apartment and to turn it off.

When i arrived to mi office and turn on my computer, my coworker, matby, say me that Hugo Chavez did an abuse of power by expropiating a building with offices in venezuela; many persons lost their jobs without a just cause. I entered to eltiempo.com web page to see the full story.

article thus said.

Chavez ordered the expropiation of several buildings in the historic center of caracas.

In one of the seized goods would build a "bolivarian national museum"

Venezuelas' president , hugo chavez, ordered this sunday to expropiating of several buildings in the historic center of caracas, during his radio an tv weekly program "Alo president".

"What is that building", chavez Asked the governement team that accompanied him in the plaza bolivar in caracas. "A private building o a jewerly store", receives as answer. immediately, the leader shouted "Expropiate", chavez continued.

"and what is that another?" ... they told me that there lived (The liberator) Simon bolivar newly married,"Expropiate", chavez continued .

"We have to convert this place in a great historic center", he said.

Before the end of his Sunday, Jorge Rodriguez, mayor of the Caracas municipality of Libertador, where there are buildings, on Monday confirmed that the four buildings will be designated by the president declared of "public interest".

"And on tuesday we already must be expropiating them", Rodriguez added.

the venezuelan leader even proposed that in one of the buildings affected for the measure is to build a "Bolivariano national museum"

After ordering the expropiations, Chavez, who since 2007 is doing an intense campaign of nationalizations of strategic sectors, guaranteed, however, to the venezuelan the family private property.

"We are leveraging the small family property, the venezuelan socialist proyect does not apart that property, which is private property", he said.

"Capitalismo is who expropiate you, Capitalismo is who espropiate to the people, to the family unity: your small land, your home, nothing of that belongs to you in the capitalism", he said.

Here the article ends.

As you can see the situation in venezuela is very hard, due to Chavez, the presidente, i think he is an dictator that is sinking to venezuela in a deep economic and social crisis.

Some of the comments of the reader are:

DJL said:

Chaves resembles to Caligula. The same irreverent attitude, omnipotent, usurping all powers. he looks like Calingla even in his pretense of being a demigod.

Dellacroce:

The day in what this son of its bad sleeping falls, his pieces will be throw away, each piece of him in a border of wenezuela and his name will be erased even his birth certifcate. his submissive people will forget his name and his kingdom will be eliminated from the venezuelan history. what a disgusting human being!!

cfeliper said:

Here the expropriations video, something for don´t believe, it is incredible that outburts like this occurs in the full xxi century, definitivley, in this case we see how the reality gets over the fiction. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q3dyzainlyi

fherrerab said:

the sad part is to see how the followers behind him applaud each foolish thing that Chavez say, where was it seen that a guy being braggart was to do this kind of expropriations whithout a serious criteria, in a broadcasting in live for the world; he looks like a stealer that i have ever seen.

EticaCero said:

When he says capitalism is which expropriate, he means that in capitalismo the houses and all the comforts are leased or they are being paid all the time, and that is very true in societies such as usa, where usually you owe the car, the house and even your clothing you wear, always you are in debt with somebody for something you have. However, in Socialism the reality is not different at least you are not who buy the house and the state provides to you one, this will be normal in the distant future in better planned societies and with birth control, but right now to have home continues meaning to pay high quantities of money, further The capitalism as everybodoy knows has the loaning financial sector as on of the backbones and it is so that almost you don't exist if you dont owe or it would be better if you owed for effects of banking beneficts.

EticaCero, Again, said:

Unfortunately it is useless to talk about socialism if you do not have one of the most essential features of it: birth control. without birth control socialism is not more than a moderated capitalism. in a distant future, five hundred years into the future, things will change drastically , the oil and thirty percent of the natural resources that today we have will disappear because they are non-renewable, but there will be more people! that situation will require to all coutries around the world to implement birth control, once implemented the societies, On the Brink of the Abyss will start to control everything, they will be societies better planned and more just where the human rights will be strengthened in the measure in that birth control increase and will increase due to the ecological chaos and the existence of a world that will be small for us. in 1000 years each country around the world will be controlled societies , or socialists.

until here i write, i have to work, see you tomorrow.
